What attracted you to coaching at AM Soccer Club?

It was the opportunity to get further involved in football aside from playing the game. Football is all I’ve done and something I could never get enough of, so when I decided I’d like to pursue a career in football through coaching, it was a no brainier join such a brilliant club that was literally on my doorstep.
What do you feel is the most important aspect of your role as a Coach?

The most important thing for me is to make sure the players enjoy football enough so that it becomes a part of their life, for the rest of their life. Football is a sport like no other and the impact it has on the world is unrivalled!
What is your favourite AM Soccer Curriculum skill and why?

My favourite skill is the Zidane 360. He was one of my favourite players of all time and I love seeing players perform it during a game!
Can you recall your favourite football moment from your life, so far?

It actually comes from one of my earliest memories in football. Wayne Rooney’s debut for Man United vs Fernebache in the Champions League. Everything about it was unbelievable and it was from then on I became obsessed about that competition!
If you could sit with any person, past or present for dinner and a conversation, who would that person be?

David Attenborough. A man who has seen and done it all. I’d love to experience all of what he’s seen, and hear about the stories and life experience he has to share. In the meantime I’m happy to settle for BBC on a Sunday night!
