COACH
What attracted you to coaching at AM Soccer Club?
-
Seeing and hearing about how well set up the club is and the great number of opportunities that are available to progress as a coach as part of the club.
What do you feel is the most important aspect of your role as a Coach?
-
To ensure that sessions are both enjoyable and help the kids to progress through good planning and enthusiasm.
What is your favourite AM Soccer Curriculum skill and why?
-
The Maradona lift as its one I often use myself when playing and comes from such an excellent player.
Can you recall your favourite football moment from your life, so far?
-
It has to be Jelavic’s winner against Celtic in the League Cup final after a Weiss quick free kick, pure joy in that moment.
If you could sit with any person, past or present for dinner and a conversation, who would that person be?
-
Johan Cruyff would be my choice, a fantastic player and coach who’s ideas about football are so simple yet interesting.
