What attracted you to coaching at AM Soccer Club?
From playing with AM Soccer Club as a child i was aware of the high standard of coaching along with the curriculum that came with it. When the opportunity arose to become a volunteer coach i was more than happy to put my name forward in order to share my knowledge of AM Soccer with the younger generation of players in order to continue these high standards set by the coaching team who were in place when i was younger.
What do you feel is the most important aspect of your role as a Coach?
To ensure that all the participants within the sessions i lead are learning, being challenged and having enjoyment throughout. By having these three aspects consistently, I believe football is more enticing for everyone.
What is your favourite AM Soccer Curriculum skill and why?
Zidane 360. This is because no matter what speed you watch it being performed at it is beautiful on the eye.
Can you recall your favourite football moment from your life, so far?
My favourite football moment from my life so far is Nacho Novo scoring the winning penalty for Rangers against Fiorentina in the 2008 UEFA Cup semi-final.
If you could sit with any person, past or present for dinner and a conversation, who would that person be?
I would sit down and have a conversation with Brian Clough.
